That may be true that it will always match if you log in and pay with an Amex card. I've never tried an order with Amex both because I have other cards I'd rather MS on and because it seems ordering Amex GC with an Amex CC is a FR trigger. But at least one person in this thread has reported paying success paying with Discover since the cashback portals returned and I have had success with the same cards, same billing address, email, phone #, etc. that I tried today in the past and none of my info has changed. I tried a Chase card first and a CapOne card after the first order was declined (both Visas), and both used to work. I'm curious to know, did anyone else experience success paying with a non-Amex card since the portals returned?

Is this limit per person/address or per credit card?
The limit is definitely at least per person and not CC, I don't know about address because I live alone and haven't been able to test that. But declined orders have always counted towards your limit for some ridiculous reason.
