(Don't know the other carriers that well, but at least 1 of them ONLY has unlimited packages; no pay-as-you-go, no prepaid, etc.)
It sounds like what I'm asking for though doesn't exist in America, so I'll likely get a prepaid where $100 keeps the number active for a year. Verizon prepaid doesn't allow LTE phones, so that's a no go. Does anyone know if Page Plus Celular does or if T-Mobile prepaid does?
T-Mobile pay by the minute plans are such that if your number makes no call/messages and receives no calls/messages there is no charge. That is PAYG/prepaid too. But your account balance will be wiped out within a days, weeks or months depending on how much money you load on the account. Once you loaded a total of $100, account balances can remain for up to a year although your account will be debited if your phone number had any billable activity.
