If you want to get a feel for Red Oxx quality without paying a lot up front, order the Red Oxx Extra Small Aviator. You'll find a good use for the bag even if you don't use it as your main bag for travel--which I now do. Not all the fancy compartments, no strap, but all of the quality is there. If I ever decide I need a bigger bag, I'll surely consider the Sky Train, simply because I saw how thoroughly Red Oxx applied its principles of quality construction to a bag that costs only $35.
