Athens Airport and Aegean 306 ATH-HER: Airbus A320
Confession- I am a United flyer who got A3 *G Status for access to United Clubs. This is my first time actually flying Aegean so I am curious to see what they're all about...

Aegean Gold Check-In; Check-In was efficient and I was given access to fast-track security.

Aegean has a very basic product, though it was perfectly fine for a Greek domestic flight. This perhaps explains the ease of attaining Star Gold (also relatively short flight distances on most Aegean flights). Good secret for other *A flyers though!
Let's see some pictures of Crete:

I HIGHLY recommend the hotel we stayed at in Crete- the Avli Suites. It was a lovely restaurant with rooms upstairs and a great jacuzzi rooftop. The purveyors of the hotel took genuine interest in the guests' well being and cultural experience. The food was all local and in Cretan tradition.
