I can replicate the fare you list, but if you then look at the conditions, it comes back and says...

Now, I don't know how to translate that but my guess is that you're being bumped up to a higher fare bucket to account for the stop. ITA shouldn't be offering you the S or M

class on the outbound.

Travelocity shows the following for £1292, but I can't find the fare basis.
BA1447 then BA27 Jan 6th
QF30 Jan 10th
BA7411 then BA28 on Mar 8th

Make sure you allow long enough at LHR for the connection - 1hr 5 mins in winter is taking a risk in my book.

Sounds like ITA is throwing an invalid fair.

Why do you say ITA shouldn't offer S or M on the outbound?
