I've been told that adding a supplementary card holder to my Gold Card would generate 1000 Membership Reward points and adding the first one would also be free.

My only questions are:
  • how long are people finding it takes to get the supplementary card approved?
  • how long are people finding it takes to receive the 1000 bonus points for adding the supplementary card (It's official up to 90 day)?
  • Is it correct that supplementary holders don't share credit ratings?

My annual fee is due soon - so it's a case of whether holding onto the card is worth it or not.
