Yeah, I wouldn't stay at any of the CY for FI in Metro Detroit. Most of those properties are of the first generation type from the late 80s/early 90s and are probably rather tired and dated at this point, even with renovations.

The full-service Marriott in Troy, or nearby Bloomfield Hills are very nice.

I always do heavy research when looking at CY for FI properties as there is so much inconsistency across these brands. I've had several be diamonds in the rough, and several be flat-out depressing dumps.
