I just saw this on my reservation for November at Hilton Garden Inn in Greensboro, NC. It says that any ressie made before OCT 27 wont incur the charge but after it will.

As a diamond member who has 98 nights so far this year and another 25ish still planned, this is the first thing that will sway my business away. This is a normal parking lot connected to another hotels lot (I think it is a Fairfield). I seriously doubt I can pass this charge on to my client (as they too will ask why I'm paying parking in a huge lot with nothing else near it charging for parking).

I am hoping this is just a HTLM mistake for the bookings, but if this is real, I guess I am going to start looking at Marriott properties in 2014. In downtown locations I can justify the parking (since they have garages and such near that also charge) but not on a side of the highway anywhere USA type of hotel.

This saddens me.
