I am pretty sure I get this thing right but I need your opinion before going ahead and do the final booking. We (family of three) will be arriving in PEK on Feb 21 around 9 PM from ORD (Chicago) and leaving PEK for another destination in Asia on Feb 24th around 3 PM (less than 72 hours) and then again coming back to PEK on 3/9 at 3 PM from BKK for our flight back to states on 3/10. Both itineraries are separate i.e. ORD-PEK-ORD (one reservation) and PEK-BKK-PEK (separate reservation using award booking but have 1 hr layover at Chengdu during OB flight). Do we need to get a Chinese Visa? As far I can understand, We don't need to (as US Passport holder) but just want to confirm before booking my intra-Asia award booking.
