In terms of getting from one city to another, originally I was thinking eurorail, but looking at the website, a 1 month pass is 1300, which is the price of a flight ticket. Are there cheaper alternatives? Like local buses? I can certainly utilize my UA miles to redeem for open jaw tickets.
