I think I'm down to two bags, both closeouts of older models... it's either the Platinum 7 20" Business for $150 or the Crew 7 22" for $130. At the moment I'm leaning towards the 20" Platinum 7 for the laptop compartment and common carrier damage warranty, mainly to cover abuse in the instances where I have to gate-check on an RJ. I can't think of a reason I would ever check it if flying on a mainline aircraft.

I'll still have my older low-end 22" TravelPro for 4-5 night trips (which should only be 3-4/year) and, for those kinds of trips, I'm more likely to want a stand-alone laptop bag anyway (leaning towards a Cocoon GridIt at the moment).
