The short answer is that you will have plenty of time.

However, I think there is a very good chance that COPA will only give you a boarding pass to BOG, and you will have to check in with AV separately. I base this on my experience flying MDE-BOG-IAH with the first leg on COPA and the second on UA.

The last time I did that route, COPA checked my bags through to IAH, so I did not have to reclaim them, but only gave me a BP to BOG. I had to go to the UA desk to check in, and I had to show them my luggage tags to they could attach them to my UA reservation. However, as PTY-BOG-MAD is an int'l-to-int'l connection vs. my domestic-to-int'l, that situation is slightly different.

If I were in your shoes, I would not worry. If the COPA agent gives you both BP's and tells you your luggage does not need to be reclaimed in BOG, that's great. However, even if you had the worst case situation, where you had to go through Colombian immigration, reclaim bags, go through customs, and recheck at AV, you still have plenty of time.
