I guess maybe I just haven't tried enough Thai food while here and unfortunately I'm flying out in less than 12 hours. I had an all day tour yesterday and their food was awful and my food tour today pretty much ruined my appetite for dinner today. My first day didn't start until 10AM and I was so excited to be here I just grabbed the first street food I saw.

I don't know if it's the traffic, the lack of metro/skytrain service to where I'm trying to go, the constant putting up with TukTuk drivers making up lies, or the not-so-great food, but I have just really not enjoyed my time in Bangkok at all. I like to think I travel quite a bit, but I've never really had a city that left me as frustrated and annoyed as this one.

If I wasn't such a big fan of Thai food, I'd probably say I'd never come back to Thailand, but I think that one good bowl of Tom Yum soup has convinced me I should give it another shot since I love Thai food so much. Perhaps Bangkok isn't the best city in Thailand for Thai food?
