There are quite a few changes to the service on the A380 and I'm sure the very regular travellers amongst you will be quick to pick up on these. Of note, many items are now 'on request' such as slippers, socks, PJ's, earplugs - a la Virgin. The new wash bags are good though, gender specific and much improved from the latest design, which to me always reminded me of some kind of animal trap.
The annoying thing about this is that, if you aren't a regular traveller, you won't know what is available that you can ask for.
Isn't it really just cost management (cutting) disguised as a service improvement (enhancement) ?
