"Please Keep your Passport on your Person..."
A friend just flew down from NCL on BA and had a great flight. Something he did mention which got my attention however, was that the CC, whilst putting someone's bag in an overhead locker saw him putting his passport in his rucksack stowed above. He was told in no few words his passport and ticket should be kept on him at all times incase of an emergency.
I somewhat understand the point, your ticket yes for in an emergency it may be needed - but question if anyone else follows that procedure of both?
I normally wear Levi's for example and a passport makes for awkward sitting due to it's (whilst small!) size. You'd be silly to steal it out of a bag because a)The person would surely notice and b) you don't have that many places to run on a locked airplane 39,000ft up...
Yours etc....
