I am thrilled they have stopped giving away suites with the credit card for diamond members.
The situation at some hotels was becoming untenable, with regular customers & long time diamonds being shut out by those only getting the card (& temporary diamond status) for that one special vacation and then throwing it all by the wayside.
I know I was sent a survey by GP, and that's exactly what I told them, as well as complained to every Hyatt person I could find.
Thankfully it appears they have listened. I'm sure the hotels were also complaining about being overrun.
