Service Dog finds/eats meth in "cleaned" hotel room

MODS please move if this is more apropo to hotel forum? not sure

Article from KPHO (Phoenix Arizona):
http://www.kpho.com/story/23673579/w...rty-hotel-room

check those hotel rooms! They aren't as clean as we think sometimes. The dog is being treated and so far is ok, thank God. The hotel was a La Quinta on Greenway Road and I-17. The hotel guest also found some other questionable items apparently "missed" by housekeeping, namely a weapon (type not mentioned in article I wonder what it was? a gun? ) found under the bed.

Speaking of "cleaned" hotel rooms, a humorous story was on Reddit.com regarding a drawer-full of chicken bones and dippin' sauce from McD's at a Holiday Inn Express http://www.reddit.com/r/.../comments...y_inn_express/

there was not only leftover old food- but a tip: one dollar and a coin. Apparently, the tip was about what the housekeeping was worth!
