Thanks for the response. I'll check on the JW / Disney kids thing if there's any reciprocal benefits for being in the community when there.

There is an activity center as you describe, but there is no true "kid's club" at MVC Ko Olina where you can drop off your kid for the day at a facility where they will be supervised by adults. I was told there is one at the JW up the road; however that is for hotel guests, I doubt they would waive that requirement but you could try. Disney seemed very snooty about accommodating visitors, you can't make advance reservations for the character meals so I don't know if they'd let you drop off either.
MVC has plenty of kids activities but these all require that an adult be present at all times. These include painting, games and a mermaid visit to the swimming pool. It is a great resort for kids (the beach lagoon is so calm that you don't have to worry about undertow, etc.) but alas no Camp Hyatt.
