Well, why stop there then. Do you mind if I copy your license plate next time you snatch a parking spot from me or cut me off so I can look you up? Or, how about some guy wanting to get the name of my daughter after seeing her drive past him so he can track her down?
Do you want to know the full name of the conductor of the next train you ride, or the full name of the driver of the next bus you're on?
So what, exactly, justifies making a pilot's full name available to John Q Public? If you have a complaint or even a compliment about a pilot of a recent flight you were on, there are avenues you can take to provide the feedback to the right people.
