Some crew do worry about their bags being acidentaly removed by passengers as this has happened to crew (probably accidentaly by a passenger with a similar bag).
My personal view is that we are too generous with our hand baggage allowance and that if we had a smaller allowance like Virgin or Emirates, this would not be such an issue but if course I am sure most FTers like our generous allowance.
thankyou for a considered sensible response to the comments made by TCX69 but perhaps he/she should have been better trained on the switch from BMI obviously myself and a few others were surprised and a little upset by his/her rather abrupt post
I may be in the minority on FT in agreeing with you that the hand baggage allowance is too generous----I really hate my laptop bag being squashed by much heavier cases---many of which I believe are over and above the BA cabin luggage allowance
