since nobody here seemed to know the answer, i did contact OZ and got the following reply:

In your case, even though you enrolled on 5th of November, your evaluation period ends at the end of the month, which is 30th of November.
We provide extra days to set every member's evaluation period to be expired at the end of the month they enrolled.

This means that your evaluation will be expired at 30 NOV 2013 and the new period will begin from 01 DEC 2013 to 30 NOV 2015.
And this also means that any activity after Nov 5 will not be counted toward that new qualification period.

which isn't really what i wanted to hear as i want anything after Nov 5 to count towards the next period.
