It is quite remakable that I was going to ask this very question, and lo and behold there is a thread already !

I was aware of this info. I think it means that the journey can originate from either end, but I don't think it answers the question whether two halves of a return can be used for separate journeys in the same direction.

Has anyone actually done this ?
