Hi inpd,

Twin beds in Europe tend to be just that ... do you really want to be 2 per bed?

As for strictness, Spain is one of the countries that registers every guest in the hotel by law. Thus, they will be aware of the fact that you want to be 4 in a room. The worst that could happen is:

(a) they make you take a second room on the spot at the rack rate
(b) tell you that they have no second room available and, indeed, refuse to let you stay.

Would it be best to maybe phone the hotel and inquire about occupancy to avoid any surprises?

Cheers,
