my mistake - i was looking at the IATA version of the salsa air and it's teeny tiny (although I imagine, very useful if you're flying one of those discount airlines). I prefer the "wider" / 2-column handle as I will have a heavy laptop case and it may balance better with a 2-column handle than a single pole handle, which the Salsa Air has.
How effective is the Salsa Deluxe in keeping your contents dry / waterproof? (There's the zipper part which connects the 2 pieces of polycarbonate -- which is a potential entry point for water) Can anyone commment about this? who have traveled in rain/snow with their Salsas suitcases?)
