reading the thread today got me optimistic I might be approved so I tried again today.
Declined. Called reconsid and was told that I had made too many applications for citi credit in too short of time period. I asked him what that time period was? Rep told me I can only apply 1x every 60 days or it will be automatically rejected. Rep also told me that this application counts and that I shouldnt reapply for at least 60 days from today. Also told me I got a hard pull from today, which sucks.
90-95 days from 8/26 has not been reached yet why you apply another biz card, assuming that is what you applied?
Also each application whether it succeeds or fails, RESET the clock.

Have you not read the Wiki? May be you misunderstood when you read about "recent successes" that made you optimistic but you missed people's timeline?
