Thumbs down

I'm new to the forum and probably not much of a poster, but here goes...

I've been traveling from Philly to Houston for a year now and usually sleep on the 3+ hours United flight (5:30 EST to 8:00a CST) and one morning the plane assigned to the route was outfitted with these "new" seats... I've got to say, they were very uncomfortable... could not sleep at all, kept feeling like I was sliding off the front of the seat...

Anyway I was hoping it was because they were using a substitute plane, maybe some experiment gone terribly awry or a bad dream and then I woke to find United is replacing 737's with these awful contraptions... not sure who they tested this on, but these were definitely were not flyer "friendly" as the commercials would have you to believe...

I will be US Air Chairman this year and was thinking of switching to United because it has the appearance of being run so much better than their sister hub airline (US) and the fact that if the US merger with American come to fruition, IMO US Air will become much worse than it already is... so rethinking the change to United strategy.

Just my .02 regarding these new seats...
