Ok.. I'm confused with Passkey.. When checking the hyatt.com website, I noticed that when I query Edmonton, a bunch of hotels not Hyatt pops up for booking. So I thought if I book these hotels through hyatt.com, I can receive credit.
So question: Am I able to somehow book other hotels and get credit/points for the Hyatt program? The reason I ask is there are hardly any Hyatts around Calgary (except for Calgary of course), and I can't really justify a mattress run in Calgary just to keep Diamond status. So I was planning to fly out on extended trips and stay at Hyatts.. but if somehow I can get credit local, it would be easier on us, not always having to step onto the plane. I'm looking at Edmonton as a nice destination.

Thanks, I will check out the relevant discussions about the repeated Challenge. It's good to know. After I failed the last Challenge, they downgraded me to Platinum (I had no status before).
Surprised here as well. But repeated Challenges have been successfully accepted. Myself, I want to stay and qualify, so I won't be redoing Challenges.. I'll do my 50 nights a year and stay on. But for my wife, I'm thinking adding her on when we are over 50 nights or purchasing connecting rooms.
