Sorry to disappoint, but the odds of getting a free upgrade to business class on your seriously restricted fare are slim to none. AC agents are not allowed to do a feel-good upgrade for someone without some heavy explaining. I'm not sure if the same policy would apply to getting a Premium Economy seat though, so maybe there's some hope.

Not sure what the Orbitz request entails, but I call BS on any sort of handshake between Orbitz and AC on this request.
