In IRROPs, AA does not require the original booking class to be available for coach travel, are you saying they do if it's first class? (And worse, you seem to be defending it.)

It was all in the Detailed Fare Rules, undoubtedly; it always pays to read them over.
Uh, no, it most likely was not.

Personally, I think you're doing a disservice here.
