had problems two/three months ago with TG codeshares. Was promised credit for both legs. AC customer service gave up on AP and posted "goodwill credit" (status miles equivalent) but told me to wait 10 weeks (!) for another one.
AP just keeps sending form letters. Silly things like: "TG has no record of this flight number", or "Please send evidence that flight was taken", or "This fare does not qualify".
All of the above are wrong, so it doesn't matter what you send or say, the credit isn't forthcoming if AP and TG are unwilling to post it. Period, end of story. Only solution is for AC customer service to post status mile goodwill credits in the same amount to your account (note, those don't show up under distinction...if you care).
