I have a reservation booked where the first night cost 240$ and the second night, which will be complimentary, cost 340$. The rate for each night is shown within the details of my reservation (on the IHG website).
Easy.
1. The nightly rate for the BOGO nights is the standard FLEX rate
2. The second night of the two is free (whether cheaper OR more expensive)
3. Reservation Confirmation quotes full 2night price
(which is payable if you neglect to present the bogo card)
confirmed reservation may quote rate per night as average rate
note, if staying three nights, 1paid+1 Bogo, eg Fri/Sat/Sun, check rates for both Sat, Sun nights and bogo the more expensive night.
eg
If night(1) = $300, night(2)=$500 , then reservation shows
Total cost=$800
Ave rate = $400
...
On checkin you pay $300m for night(1) as night(2) is free
