Just got a simple question - I think I've seen the answer around but could not turn it up in a search.

I've got a LHR-HKG-CGK sector booked on CX and will cross the tier threshold to get bronze (yay!) on the LHR-HKG sector. However, I was just wondering if they'll give me the 25% avios bonus for the HKG-CGK sector or not?

Or do the bonus only get given after I get the e-mail from Executive club informing me I've managed to attain a new status?

Following that - another quick question - I presume if I had managed to get silver on a similar situation (on the transit stop in HKG) the chances I could get into the lounge at HKG would be slim?
