There's plenty of competition in Canada. EK and the other Gulf carriers will likely gain additional access to Canada in due course.

While I'm no fan of the Harper government, when I see the mess that the UK and the US are in I'm hard-pressed to accept that we have much to learn about how to run our country from either of those nations.
