Ca Maria Adele Venice Italy (review)
Moderator - If this is the wrong forum please move, I felt it was the bottom of luxury and couldn't find any other reviews.
Ca Maria Adele is a very small boutique hotel (14 rooms) Almost directly across the Grand Canal from St. Marks Square in a very quiet section of Venice. Because it is almost at the start of the Grand Canal it get's a fraction of the people the busy parts do. The bad part is if you don't like to walk it's a 15 min walk over to St. Marks or 7-10 minutes to the Academy Bridge over the Grand Canal
Our room was very nice and decorated in the Venetian style. We booked through Brownell's who got us a room upgrade to the most requested room hotel at least accordiing to the reception desk. We had an awesome room on a side canal with a very small balcony. Only 1 room has a balcony so I would tend to believe him about this being the best room other than the top floor suite. I could have spent all day on the balcony just looking around. Room was big by European Standards.
Breakfast was just OK. Room service doesn't bring you a table and their isn't one in the room.
Front desk - reception doubles as the concierge and we found them all to be fantaastic.
Water taxi from airport drops you off at front door.
Would definetly stay there again. Only downside would be location - you're essentially at the comlete end of Venice. If you want to be in the middle or close to a lot of people I would choose another location.
Venice - I was never there before and fell in love. 100x better than I imagined. We will stay here again if we get back to Venice.
