I was a Regional Sales Manager for 4 years and I'm now working for Hilton Grand Vacations... Here is my take on most of the post I've read.

I can certainly see why you could be mad at receiving calls from telemarketers, but you have to keep in mind where you are. You live in United States of America and your are marketed to from the time you wake up until you lay down for the night. The more money you have or the more information you have out the more you qualify for. Plus, if you sleep with your television on your being marketed to while your sleep because unless you had hearing troubles before you tried sleeping your subconscious mind is taking note of everything it's hearing. Online your being marketed to, driving to work your being marketed to, watching television, through phone calls, billboards, traditional mail;, e-mail.... This process has and never will stop... Have you ever been hungry and ate and a few moments if not an hour or so later asked why an I craving a ______?

Probably because cause your subconscious mind recognized an ad and created a desire for you. 6 times out of 10 you went and bought it. I don't own a television and I fully understand that when I leave my house everything is going to try to stab at my bank account and my pockets without an opportunity to put some back. How do I know I create ads, I study peoples buying habits, I've been trained in sales, and now have trained well over 2000 successful professional salesmen. I studied how colors, sounds, visual images influences, and create attention. I know the subconscious mind can pick up things and apply them to your lifestyle or act on things you see or hear without you knowing it.

The point is this, everyone has bills, and I'm sure you or myself didn't create the term "Supply & Demand," right? Well, if you put together this puzzle you'll get America. Bills + Supply & Demand = America (Everything is tugging at your pocket) You only recognizing telemarketer because you are always near a phone. For direct sales I need to see you everyday, or for traditional mail I need to mail you everyday, or for via e-mail I need to mail you every hour, but you keep a cell phone or house phone. There is always a way to reach you through telecommunications it feels like we're trying to get in your pockets but everything else is. We are just trying to pay our bills just like you, but I really do believe in Hilton's products. I wish they would offer them to us... I had much more but I watered this down and I'm cutting it short... Sorry!
