how do I learn the basics
I ran across a great fare via TrvlZoo that was DFW-CDG via MEX for $383 RT. I would have never thought to try and route a flight to CDG through MEX.
How do sites and people uncover these types of fares? With pricing like that I wouldn't mind the extra time to stop in MEX for 7 hours.

Just trying to figure out the basics of putting fares together creatively

Is there a FT 101 section that I am missing ?
