add this thread to your the hotel MUST button my collars!!!!!!!!!!
Let's do some math. I have direct control over where people stay. This is 100s of nights per year. Let's say gym has three treadmills that stink but for 3k more (each treadmill) they could have a LifeFitness quality piece.
Instead they cheap out and I decide to choose other hotel with better equipment? Let's say three people where schedule for 28 days each at 150/nt exclusing taxes, laundry, food.
3x150x28 = $12,600
Think this is theory? I've done it and it cost Marriott room fills. MR points means squat if hotel has bad gym. The crappy treadmills actually COST Marriott money.
You really don't understand hotel service if you think gym equipment is on par with shark fin soup. A gym may not mean much to you but let me tell you, for regular gym users this is a very important hotel consideration.
If you are not a regular gym user, then why would you even reply to this thread? Plenty of other topics you can reply too but when you don't use the equipment on a regular basis as you seem to indicate, it implies your input is of limited value.
