I'm happy the Mail was willing to pick up our lounge hygiene issues, I do have issues though with the way they can say someone who fought for this country hated Britain just for having different political views to what they have. Particularly when the DM record during the way was more appalling than flies buzzing round a fresh (less than 48 hours old) tray of gloop.
I think the Mail needs to be read with balance. You know if the Guardian and Mail agree on something there's likely to some truth in it.
I used to get the Guardian on some of my BA flights. I don't much mind getting either the Guardian, the FT, IHT, or the Daily Mail, even as the last one is way more tabloid in nature and only gets my attention because it's a window into what I would rarely choose to read: its equivalents in the US.
