But in all seriousness, most of the flying they did is still intact, with the exception of a few cities and random routes. The LAX hub is still very much alive, albeit in a different form, but still there.

Hard to compare a time without regional jets and 707s, 72Ss, and 732s to today's times.

I'm one for a bargain, but $30 r/t with free flowing champagne is just ludicrous.
