I'm talking about when I'm on a 320 red-eye, so sleep is already less than easy, and there are Y pax walking back and forth through the J cabin, making noise, and dirtying the lav. And when there's no good reason they can't use the Y lavs.
And no, "they're both occupied" is not an excuse.
Personally, I think the discomfort someone experiences while waiting for a lavatory when they really need to go is a perfectly acceptable reason to go to J. I feel this way even when I'm sitting in J and have to deal with the increased traffic in the cabin.
Occasionally, I've even seen the reverse - a J pax going to use the lav in Y.
