I just got back from a F/C saver award for 2 to AKL. I had to route through NRT/HND (stopover) but there are seats via SQ TG NZ, just have to look for routing through Asia and/or Australia. SYD is a good landing point, very easy to get trans-Tasman flights if you need a tag as NZ is very stingy on awards, even in E. TG and SQ have nice AKL daytime eastbound flights.
