I have to fly back and forth between Boston and Chicago at least 4 times per year, usually much more. I also tend to travel a lot, so this card would definitely benefit me.

As far as my credit history is concerned, I've had a credit card for a year now (Citi Forward). I started with a credit line of $2000 and it hasn't changed. I've never missed a payment, and I've paid nearly all my statement balances in full (except one, in which I paid $650/653, and paid the additional $3 next month)

Do I have any chances at all? I know that on their website they say you need "excellent credit," which a first-year like me definitely doesn't have! I'd rather not apply and end up getting denied, since that would hurt my score.

Any help?
