Quite right too. I had a window seat the other day on a day flight TATL to the West Coast - and I had it for a reason in that I like to look at various parts of the scenery en route and I like to work and read by natural light. My seat opponent complained constantly about it so eventually I conceded, against my better judgment. She then turned her attention to my use of my reading light and my laptop which was beyond the pale. Retaliation was due, so I found the need to go to the restrooms about every hour. We were not best of friends after that but why, oh why, in her voluminous three carry on bags could she not find space for some eye shades?
