When you own the company (like me), you may drink at lunch but most of the times you don't. It's not morality, it's not health, it's just my personal preference. I hold my sales guys to the same standard. We have been in business meetings in Europe and Asia where closing a customer required some "comradery" at lunch. So, in those cases, we drank at lunch. Fine. Otherwise, what's the point? It slows you down and makes you less effective for the rest of the (long) day ahead.
