I think what Cloudsbelow means, is if you're a very senior FA, and you could pick between 77HD, or 77W or 77L, you'd be a fool to pick the one with the biggest FA to PAX ratio. Assuming 10 FA's on each of those, a logical person would pick the 77L. I know it's probably not 10 FA's, and that there are probably more FA's on the 77W than 77L, and maybe even more on 77HD, but but you get my point re: FA to PAX ratio.

The crewing on a 77P (Europe) has been augmented by 3 bodies to offset the increased configuration. FA:PAX ratio is similar on most aircraft and adjusted according to route and contractual considerations. Everybody's preferences and priorities are different. For me its:
>767 More Intimate (Bigger is not necessarily Better)
>Europe vs Asia (Not keen on being on an aircraft for 15 hours)
>Proximity to Hotel (Avoid LHR & CDG like the plague as I hate the drive into town)
