I can't accurately comment on an aircraft I haven't flown, but on the subject of pure Y/C seat width, AC joins the 10 abreast club along with AA/AZ/EK/AF/NZ/BA and others. It would appear that increasingly, this is becoming 777 industry standard. AC/AA/EK/AF all share 17.0 seat width, AZ 16.5, NZ 17.1. As the worlds most popular widebody "twin", it might be hard to avoid all together.
