I think they must have loaned some of the T3 people to T5 Fast Track early on Friday! A non-moving line thanks to just one line open for a long while, then the lane guardian refused to allow my liquids to be x-rayed in my perfectly EU-legal clear re-sealable bag and was just plain rude when I asked her what was wrong with it - even my wife, who lets most of these things just flow, was less than impressed by her attitude.
Definite shades of T3 'these are our rules and we don't care'. When she told me, extremely sarcastically, that I clearly knew her job far better than she did, I couldn't help but agree!
Heathrow could learn a lot from TXL - in spite of struggling with too many flights loaded into an airport that can't really cope, which causes long queues, the security staff are always friendly and helpful.
