Bumping up threads that have not been used in two years or longer is what is actually frowned upon on FT. Those older threads have lost continuity and generally contain obsolete information; it makes things more complicated for the Moderator servants.

Unless there is a compelling reason, avoid bumping threads that are more than two years old. Often the information is out-dated and it clogs the forums, making it difficult to find current threads.
