As far as Customs, I'm sure you're right that customs is x-raying the baggage, but it's good to see that it should be a hassle-free experience.

I presume the exit process when flying domestic to international is just as easy.

Is there an international departure tax to be paid in RP at CGK or are the taxes airport specific? Will have to see if a domestic tax has to be paid departing DPS as well.
