Many hotels have a radio alarm bedside, but I trust those less than TV, mobile and hotel phone-alarm calls.

Yes, auto-set of mobiles timezones is a godsend when setting alarms.
True story. bedside alarm clocks at hotels are almost useless. It takes an advanced degree to learn how to set the damn things. Not going to risk a big meeting or event on that...
